Role Description This is a remote, contract Web Developer role focused on building and improving IndiaLaw.AI’s web-based legal technology platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining responsive user interfaces, implementing and optimizing back-end services and APIs, and ensuring smooth integration between front-end and back-end components. The Web Developer will collaborate with product, design,



and legal teams to translate user needs into secure, performant, and accessible web features. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, improving site reliability and speed, and contributing to best practices in code quality, documentation, and testing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Web Development and Programming skills, with experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including responsive layouts, accessibility considerations, and user-centered interfaces.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Experience with modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React/Vue/Angular, Node.js, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and cross-browser/device compat
