Key Responsibilities
• Design and build Sigma workbooks, dashboards, and data models that meet business reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain reusable Sigma datasets and semantic layers on top of the cloud data warehouse.
• Write and tune SQL against Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift to support Sigma workbooks.
• Implement calculated columns, custom formulas, parameters, controls, and input tables for interactive analysis.
• Configure row-level security, user attributes, and workspace permissions to enforce data governance.
• Optimize workbook and query performance, including materialization strategy and warehouse cost management.
• Enable and support business users through training, documentation, and self-service best practices.
• Validate data accuracy through reconciliation against source systems and QA of published content.
• Collaborate with data engineering on upstream model changes, data quality issues, and pipeline dependencies.
• Manage version control, workbook lifecycle, and promotion across development and production environments.




Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data visualization roles.
• 1.5+ years of hands-on development in Sigma Computing.
• Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and query performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and analytics data design.
• Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into deliverables.
• Attention to detail and a solid commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
• Sigma Computing certification (Analyst or Data Modeling).
• Experience migrating reporting from Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Domo to Sigma.
• Working knowledge of dbt for transform
