This is a remote chance for an experienced AV professional to design and engineer sophisticated audiovisual solutions for a range of collaboration and technology environments. You will own the technical design of AV systems, from initial requirements and architecture through documentation, installation, and commissioning support. The role combines hands-on engineering expertise with creative problem-solving and close collaboration across project, IT, architectural, and vendor teams. You will work with technologies spanning audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage, networking, and sound reinforcement. Your designs will directly influence system reliability, usability, scalability, and overall user experience. The position also offers the opportunity to evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to innovative AV solutions within a global, highly collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:




Develop end-to-end AV system designs, including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, device specifications, network topologies, and system architectures.
Create detailed engineering drawings and design documentation using tools such as Visio and D-Tools.
Define functional and technical requirements for audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and related AV systems.
Ensure all designs align with relevant industry standards and best practices, including AVIXA, SMPTE, AES, and IT networking principles.
Research and evaluate emerging AV technologies, recommending hardware and software solutions that enhance reliability, maintainability, and user experience.
Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new equipment, technologies, and system architectures.
