Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Information Security Consultant who has experience working as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in information security consulting and will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of security strategies to protect our organization?s information assets.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.
Support the CISO in managing security incidents and responding to security breaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security regulations and best practices.
Provide recommendations for security improvements and enhancements.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Participate in security awareness training for employees.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of Information Security Consulting principles and practices.
Experience working in a role related to CISO or similar leadership position.
Understanding of risk management frameworks and security compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
Knowledge of cloud security and data protection strategies.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
