Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Develop and implement welfare programs and initiatives to enhance the well-being of employees at the tractor manufacturing plant.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations related to employee welfare and industrial relations.
- Conduct regular assessments of the workplace environment and facilities to promote safety, health, and overall employee satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate timely resolution of employee grievances and welfare needs.
- Organise health camps, counselling sessions, recreational activities, and training workshops aimed at employee development and stress management.
- Maintain records and reports regarding welfare activities, attendance, and employee feedback to monitor effectiveness.
- Support Employee Relations initiatives by assisting with policy communication, dispute resolution, and fostering positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify welfare-related challenges and propose sustainable solutions aligned with organisational goals.
- Act as a point of contact between management and employees on welfare matters ensuring transparent communication and trust-building.
- Drive awareness campaigns on health, safety, and legal rights to empower employees with knowledge and resources.
Experience
- Proven experience in welfare management, preferably within heavy manufacturing or automotive sectors.
- Experience working in or with tractor manufacturing plants or similar industrial environments is highly advantageous.
- Robust understanding of Indian labour laws, employee welfare policies, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver welfare initiatives that improve employee engagement and morale.
- Experience in handling employee grievances, mediation, and industrial relations in a sensitive and effective manner.
