Responsibilities /
KRA:
• Manage a portfolio of UK clients, including trading companies and property rental entities,
covering end-to-end bookkeeping through year-end finalisation.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities such as posting sales, purchases, bank
transactions, journals, and maintaining accurate books of accounts.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, including VAT registration and deregistration where required.
• Ensure trial balances are complete, accurate, and fully reconciled before proceeding to
year-end accounts preparation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including P&L; and balance sheet
schedules.
• Handle UK year-end accounting work including bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, P&L;
preparation, and finalisation of accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.




• Prepare and review corporation tax computations and CT600, ensuring accuracy and
regulatory compliance.
• Possess basic working knowledge of personal tax returns, primarily for company directors.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, VAT control accounts, payroll liabilities,
prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
• Review work completed by junior team members or outsourced staff, providing guidance
and quality checks where required.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, and
tax-related queries via email and calls.
• Support credit control activities including chasing debtors and sending customer statements
where applicable.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables in line with agreed client deadlines, statutory
timelines, and internal SLAs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Managers, UK teams, and offshore teams) to ensure
smooth workflow and o
