Brief Description of Job Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms to control the behavior of UAV, Including path planing, obstacle avoidance and collaborative tasks using VIO and SLAM based algorithms.
- Conduct simulation and field testing to validate the performance of the algorithms.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions on time and within budget.
- Document and present research findings, technical specifications, and system designs to stakeholders.
Skills / Competencies Needed for the Position
- Proficiency in Lua script & Python.
- Familiarity with ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) and related tools.
- Knowledge in V-SLAM, VIO (Visual Inertial Odometery) & VOA (Visual Obstacle Avoidance) is must.
- Experience with robotic hardware,
sensors, and actuators, Image sensor & LIDAR.
- Good knowledge of deploying software on hardware Good knowledge of deploying software on hardware platform like Snapdragon, Nvidia Jetson Nano etc.
- Knowledge of Path/motion Planning related algorithms.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning and reinforcement learning
- Knowledge of CV-ML algorithms.
- Familiarity with UAV platforms, like Pixhawk, Ardupilot, PX4, etc.,
