4. Job Purpose
To learn and develop sewing machine operating skills, garment construction methods, quality standards, and production procedures under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.
5. Key Responsibilities
- Learn and operate sewing machines as per the assigned operation.
- Follow instructions given by the Team Leader / Supervisor.
- Understand garment construction, operation sequence, and sewing methods.
- Maintain required quality standards and minimize defects.
- Achieve the assigned production target after completing training.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
- Maintain proper machine handling and basic machine cleanliness.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities to the concerned person.
- Follow workplace safety rules and use PPE wherever required.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
- Handle fabric and garment components carefully to avoid damage.




- Attend all assigned training and skill-development programs.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Cooperate with Team Leaders, Operators, Quality and Production teams.

6. Training & Development
- Basic sewing machine operation.
- Machine safety and handling.
- Garment construction and operation sequence.
- Quality awareness and defect identification.
- Production methods and productivity improvement.
- 5S and workplace housekeeping.
- Basic troubleshooting and machine care.
