Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owns Visual and instrumental color approval decisions for lab dips, trims and bulk.
- Understands and Maintains the brand Concept and identity in all approval decisions.
- Provides Technical Color expertise to brand.
- Actively implements CMS Color process and executes against a calendar
- Initiates color process with on time entry of color submittal requests.
- Maintains turn time requirements to achieve on time delivery.
- Provides extensive communication to the brand team, suppliers and mills on color correction and color performance issues.
- Responsible to track and follow up on approval status to maintain on time delivery.
- Maintain complete and accurate records for the color approval process.
- Attends key brand follow up meetings.
- Supports company initiatives.
- Provides matrix of performance assessment.
- Initiates weekly communication with color Managers and Merchants.
- Anticipates Color problems, Maintains and reports on predicted issues log.
- Evaluate Shade bands from suppliers and Collaborates with Merchandisers and designers on approvals.
- Assist with Print and Pattern color evaluation.
- Networks within the industry and embraces instrumental color evaluation.
- Initiative in Dye Recipe development with CSP and Dye Manufacturing Companies for Factory.
- Responsible for Accreditation and Color audit at factory.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor degree or Skilled qualification with at least 8 years’ experience in similar capacity;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; good spoken and written English fluency;
- Self- motivated; ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality;
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
- Excellent color / print reset;
- Strong ability to differentiate color;
