We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Electrical & Electronics Engineer specialising in Embedded Systems. The role involves leading a team in developing electronic hardware and embedded software, particularly in the Defence and IoT sectors. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in embedded systems, PCB design, hardware development, and team/project management.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and mentor a team of engineers in hardware/firmware development.
· Oversee PCB design and development, ensuring high-speed circuit performance.
· Manage and execute projects in Defence, IoT, and Consumer Electronics domains.
· Conduct and oversee technical assessments including DFM, DFT, DFV, FMEA, and RCA.
· Define project milestones, allocate tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
· Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
System Architecture & Co-Design:




· Develop optimized hardware-software co-design for embedded systems.
· Define system architecture covering processor selection, power management, memory hierarchy, and I/O design.
· Implement wired/wireless communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Zigbee, 4G/5G).
· Design real-time embedded systems ensuring high-speed, deterministic performance.
· Ensure compliance with CE, FCC, RoHS, RTTE, and REACH standards.

Core Technical Requirements:
· Expertise in 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers and Embedded C programming.
· Experience in PCB Design & Development using OrCAD 16.6, Eagle, Fusion 360, KiCAD, Allegro.
· Proficiency in RFID, IoT, Zigbee, GPS/GSM and power electronics design.
· Strong understanding of EMI/EMC considerations and fabrication/assembly processes (IPC standards).
· Hands-on knowledge of regulatory compliance: CE, FCC, RoHS, RTTE, REACH.
