Job DescriptionSummary: The Vessel IT Engineer will be a part of IT Department and is responsible for managing, supporting, maintaining and upgrading the on-board IT infrastructure of X-Press Feeders and her subsidiary vessels.
NThe successful candidate will provide remote IT support, and when required on-board support on our vessels. The position offers development in IT knowledge, tele-communication and cyber security skills in a multicultural environment.
NReports to: Senior Manager, Vessel IT
NRole and Responsibilities:

- Provide support to our fleet of vessels and crew, remotely and on-board N
- Install, configure and troubleshooting physical/virtual machines, laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications) N
- Participate in the design, implementation of our vessels' IT infrastructure N
- Monitor performance andensure system availability and reliability N
- Perform system and network updates/upgrades N
- Maintain IT security and backup solutions N
- Liaise with vendors,



email providers and other IT personnel for problem resolution or when new tasks are needed N
- Provide out-of-businesshours/weekend support as part of an on-call rota N
- Occasional ship-boarding is required. N

nRequirements:

- n
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent. N
- 2 - 5 years of relevantvessel IT experience. N
- Experience in implementing and supporting cyber security solutions is preferred. N
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, data cabling and WiFi infrastructure. N
- Knowledge of ships automation systems will be a plus. N
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. N
- Ambitious, self-motivated, fast learner with can-do attitude and a genuine interest in all aspects of IT Support. N
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and flexibility to work prolonged hours. N
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
