Identify and realize current business opportunities while building long-term customer and partner relationships to strengthen the company's market position within the Indian automotive industry.
2. Main Responsibilities
Sales Manager / Business Development Manager India
- Develop and implement market entry and growth strategies for the Indian market.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and customer prospects within the automotive electric industry (harnesses).
- Analyze market, competitor, technology and industry trends and derive strategic recommendations.
- Build and further develop a strong network with OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, as well as other relevant stakeholders in India.
- Identify, approach and acquire key decision-makers in purchasing, engineering and management functions.
- Establish and maintain sustainable customer relationships to generate new projects and series production business.
- Take ownership of developing and maintaining a qualified sales opportunity pipeline.
- Identify, generate and pursue RFQs, development projects and serial production opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage all acquisition activities up to successful contract award.
- Ensure the definition and alignment of acquisition requirements, customer specifications and commercial frameworks.
- Ensure the preparation of quotations, business cases, cost breakdowns and profitability analyses in close cooperation with relevant internal departments.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms and conditions within approved authorization levels.
- Ensure achievement of agreed revenue, order intake and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry associations, governmental bodies, economic institutions and other relevant stakeholders.
