Required Skills & Qualifications

Architecture & Design

· Proven experience designing large‑scale distributed systems and Node.js microservices with strong REST and async integration patterns

· Deep understanding of design patterns, SOLID, DDD, and event‑driven architectures, with sound trade‑off decisions (stateful vs stateless, sync vs async, caching)

· Strong expertise in MongoDB including data modeling, indexing, aggregations, and scalability fundamentals

· Experience with micro‑frontend architectures (e.g., Single‑SPA) and cross‑team UI composition

· Ability to balance technical debt, scalability, cost, and time‑to‑market using metrics‑driven decisions

Cloud & Platform (AWS & Jenkins)
- Extensive experience architecting on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Strong command of Docker and deployment strategies (blue/green, rolling, canary) on ECS/EKS.
- Expertise in CI/CD with Jenkins, including pipeline‑as‑code, gated builds, artifact versioning, and workplace promotion.




- Mature observability practices using New Relic, SLOs, s, and distributed tracing.

Technology Awareness
- Broad hands‑on knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Ability to objectively evaluate technologies and recommend pragmatic, scalable solutions
- Awareness of modern trends (serverless, streaming, observability, platform engineering) with a bias for operational simplicity

Leadership & Communication
- 12-14 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in senior/lead/architect roles.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Track record of driving technical decisions and influencing without authority.
- Experience working with Agile teams and contributing to engineering culture.
