Job purpose

Implementing and following the laid down processes, and providing need based pharmacy services to beneficiaries at the centre.

Duties and responsibilities

· Dispensing medication as prescribed by the Doctor in the prescription
· Knowledge to perform pharmaceutical assessment of every prescription before dispensing
· Checking the details of the patient, performing pharmaceutical assessment and proper documentation before dispensing medication
· Validation whether the medication being provided matches the prescription, expiry of the medication, composition of the medication, appropriate packing and labeling
· Providing appropriate information about the medications on dosage, duration of drug therapy, intended use of drug, expected action, side and adverse effects, proper storage of the drug, precautions for the drug and actions to be taken in case of misuse




· Provide suggestions for inclusion and provision of additional medications based on the prescribing patterns across different medical specialties and super specialties
· Provide necessary support as and when required
· Perform all other assigned duties

Qualifications / Certifications

· Bachelor of Pharmacy, 4 years’ experience (preferable); Minimum 2-years’ experience required OR
· Diploma in Pharmacy, 4 years’ experience (preferable); Minimum 2-years’ experience required

Working conditions

Should be open to work as per the organization and project requirement.

Job location: UP
Timings: 8 hours
Workdays: 6 days a week
