Job Description:

We are looking for a Staff QA Engineer to lead and champion the Quality Engineering (QE) Test Automation strategy across all digital applications and services at 7-Eleven. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to test automation team, fostering excellence and scalability in automation solutions and ensuring adherence to best coding practices. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of digital products and features to deliver high-quality, integrated testing solutions that support business objectives

Responsibility:

· Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java-based tools (Selenium, Selenide, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, RestAssured, Karate).

· Lead mobile automation initiatives with Appium for both iOS and Android platforms.

· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality validation.





· Establish and maintain a robust test data strategy to support multi-environment testing.

· Conduct advanced performance benchmarking using JMeter, Gatling, k6 and provide actionable insights.

· Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.

· Utilize test management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, or similar for planning and reporting.

· Mentor QA engineers, set up frameworks, and enforce best practices across teams.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness and high-quality delivery.

Skills Required (Must-Have):

· 11-13 years of experience in QA and test automation with solid expertise in Selenium with Java.

· Proven hands-on experience in Appium automation for iOS and Android applications.

· Solid expertise in API automation using RestAssured.

· Hans on experience in performance testing and benchmarking.
