KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive compensation strategies, including fixed pay, variable pay, ESOPs, payroll and commission structures for store, warehouse and corporate office employees.
- Conduct regular market analyses to ensure our compensation, ESOP and payroll structures remain competitive within the footwear retail sector.

Payroll Management:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across retail stores, warehouse and corporate office, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement each cycle.
- Ensure correct calculation of statutory deductions (such as PF, ESIC, professional tax, TDS and other applicable contributions), and coordinate with Finance for payments and reconciliations.
- Manage end-to-end apprentice payroll, ensuring accurate stipend calculation, deductions, and timely payment in line with apprenticeship laws and internal policies.



Aligns apprentice pay and benefits with the organisation’s overall compensation strategy while maintaining compliance with government reimbursement schemes such as NAPS/NATS

Benefits Administration (including ESOPs):
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, ESOPs and other perks.
- Work with leadership, Finance and legal advisors to support the design, communication and periodic review of ESOP schemes, including eligibility, grant guidelines and vesting conditions.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the overall advantages and ESOP offerings to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our diverse workforce and support long-term retention.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation, payroll, ESOP and benefits programs.
- Generate regular reports and insights (e.g., payroll cost by location, overtime trends, incentive payout and ESOP cost/coverage analysis) to guide decision-making and support continuous improvement.
