Job Summary:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures in the Projects department. They will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to create a safe working environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Provide safety training to employees
- Investigate and report on accidents and incidents
- Collaborate with project managers to address safety concerns
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety OR Equivalent Qualification related to Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- 10 years of experience in a Projects department
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
