About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional with 8–10 years of experience to lead the end-to-end employee onboarding function. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving onboarding programs to ensure new hires have a seamless and engaging start at Paytm. Your role will involve strong cross-functional coordination, excellent communication, and deep ownership of onboarding outcomes from offer acceptance through probation completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full onboarding lifecycle, ensuring a structured and welcoming experience for all new employees from day one.
• Coordinate closely with Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Hiring Managers, IT, Payroll/Finance, and Facilities to ensure timely completion of documentation, system setup, and onboarding formalities.
• Develop and standardize onboarding policies, orientation schedules, induction modules and 30/60/90 day onboarding plans.
• Conduct orientation sessions and communicate company policies, culture, values, and expectations to new hires.




• Act as the primary point of contact for new joiners during their initial transition period, addressing queries and providing guidance.
• Maintain accurate employee records, update HRIS/onboarding platforms, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Gather and analyse onboarding feedback, track onboarding KPIs (e.g., completion rates, time-to-productivity) and prepare insights for senior leadership.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance the overall experience and effectiveness of the onboarding journey.
• Mentor and guide junior HR/onboarding team members, driving team capability and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, or related functions in tech/fintech or large corporate environments.
