Role Summary
The AVP – Business Finance & Data Analytics will act as a strategic finance partner to the business, combining strong financial acumen with advanced analytics capability. This role will be responsible for driving business performance insights, building robust MIS/dashboards, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and enabling leadership to make faster, data-backed decisions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with financial rigour and data storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Business Finance
- Partner with business/category/functional heads to track P&L; performance,



margins, and cost efficiency
- Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide financial evaluation and business case support for new product launches, pricing decisions, and investments
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and unit economics across categories/channels
- Support month-end close processes with business commentary and performance analysis

Data Analytics & MIS
- Design and maintain dashboards and MIS reports covering sales, margins, opex, and key business KPIs
- Build and automate reporting frameworks to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
- Translate large datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams
- Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and category teams to build performance tracking tools
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis to support strategic decisions
