Key Responsibilities
Buying & Range Planning
- Own seasonal and monthly range planning based on historical sales, market trends, and productivity metrics
- Build data-backed buy plans by category, price point, option count, and depth
- Ensure a balanced assortment / category mix across formals, casuals, open footwear, sneakers, premium shoes and occasion wear
- Manage newness vs. core mix to maximize sell-through and minimize ageing.

Merchandising & Analytics
- Track and analyse sell-through, ROS, MOI, WOS, ageing, and size curves
- Identify over-performing and under-performing options and take timely corrective action
- Drive inventory rationalization, liquidation, and stock rebalancing across stores
- Translate insights into actionable decisions.

Category & Market Expertise
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, costing, and quality parameters
- In-depth knowledge of market pricing, competition,



and emerging trends
- Ability to benchmark ranges against competition and identify white spaces

Vendor & Cost Management
- Work closely with vendors on costing, margins, MOQ planning, and timelines
- Ensure commercial delivery discipline and quality with vendors.
- Support sourcing decisions based on cost efficiency and scalability

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, planning and VM teams to improve sell-through and stock productivity
- Support stores with data-driven recommendations.

Key Skills & Experience
- Extremely solid in Excel / data analysis (Pivot tables, lookups, dashboards)
- High comfort with numbers, ratios, and productivity metrics
- Experience with large option counts and multi-store retail preferred
