Role Overview
We are looking for an SAP BTP Support Engineer to join our offshore support team in
India. This role focuses on handling application and platform support tickets for
multiple customers using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services such as
SAPUI5 applications, CAPM (Node.js), SAP Build Process Automation (BPA),
Document Management Service (DMS), and Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
The engineer will be responsible for analysing application issues, troubleshooting
production problems, managing deployments, and ensuring smooth operation of
applications hosted on SAP BTP across multiple customer landscapes.
The role requires solid technical expertise in SAP BTP services, application
architectures, and support processes, combined with the ability to independently
investigate issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary technical owner of support tickets related to SAP BTP




applications and services.
• Analyse incidents and service requests raised through ticketing tools such as
Jira.

• Troubleshoot issues in SAPUI5 applications, CAPM (Node.js) services, and BTP-
hosted applications.

• Investigate and resolve production issues including application errors,
deployment failures, and integration issues.
• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions aligned with SLA targets.
• Perform bug fixes and minor enhancements in applications and services.
• Analyse application logs, traces, and monitoring tools to identify root causes.
• Provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring issues.
• Understand and analyse application architectures to diagnose issues
effectively.
• Manage role collections, user access, and authorization assignments in BTP.
• Handle deployments across environments using CI/CD pipelines.
