Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented US Corporate Accounting and Taxation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of corporate accounting principles and US tax regulations. While payroll experience is beneficial, our primary focus is on bookkeeping, preparing profit and loss (P&L;) statements, and managing financial statements. This role includes ensuring compliance with quarterly and yearly state and federal tax filings.

*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Tax Compliance and Reporting:*
Prepare and file quarterly and yearly state and federal tax returns.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and guidelines.
Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
Maintain organised and detailed tax records and documentation
Coordinate with HR to manage employee tax-related inquiries and concerns.

2. *Tax Planning and Strategy:*




Develop tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise on necessary adjustments.
Provide tax-related guidance on business decisions and transactions.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax-related filings and reports

3. *Accounting Integration:*
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
- Reconcile tax accounts and ensure proper documentation of tax-related transactions.

Compile comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis and reporting.

Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements.
