The team you will be a part of
The Engineering team identifies, researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluates sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices.



Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
This role in summary
Responsible for market research, study raw material, labour rate & MHR trends across NAR, LAR & ASIA regions. Recommend strategy to achieve cost leadership in various products of WPL. Lead Cost modeling and correlation for Plastic injection molding and Sheet metal components.
Your responsibilities will include
Responsible to support cost modeling critical inputs of Raw material, Forex, Labour rates etc at various supplier locations across NAR, LAR, ASIA etc
Basic knowledge of MIS and communications
Responsible for Cost Model development of Metal commodities. Close interaction with the Target Costing, Commodity , Design and Product Management ( Plant GSS ) Team.
Expert knowledge of Injection Moulding ,Stamping & Casting Tool, Manufacturing/engineering processes, materials & systems. Communi
