Job Title: Project Accountant:

Key Responsibilities

1. Invoice Booking & Processing

Review and process vendor invoices, sub-contractor payments, and expense reports.

Ensure all invoices have proper authorization and comply with tax regulations (GST/TDS).

Verify invoice details against Purchase Orders (PO) and legal contracts.

Map invoices accurately to specific project codes and cost categories.

2. Project Financial Tracking & Reporting

Record and manage project-specific expenses and revenue recognition.

Update and maintain invoice tracking spreadsheets and ERP systems (e.g., Timberline, SAP).

Prepare regular reports on project income, expenses, and overall profitability.

Reconcile accounts payable specifically for project-related costs.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Analyze budget discrepancies and manage project-specific budgets.

Provide financial forecasting to support project planning.

4. Compliance & Project Closing

Ensure adherence to financial policies, contract terms, and regulatory standards.

Handle project close-out activities, including finalizing accounts, releasing retentions, and analyzing final profitability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
