The Assistant Accounts Officer provides support to department activities with specific responsibility for the processing, recording, updating and reconciling information in compliance with established policies and procedures and to prepare and input information for the purpose of generating accounts and management information for IQ EQ group entities.
- You’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing service requests, invoices, credit notes, purchase ledger activities, banking transactions, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.
- You’ll support financial close and reporting, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, cash reports, statutory returns, and assisting with statutory financial statements and group reporting requirements.
- You’ll oversee transaction accuracy and cash management,



handling client disbursements, ensuring proper reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in line with policies and procedures.
- You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and liaising with senior management, auditors, banks, government agencies, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- You’ll drive compliance and continuous improvement, supporting month-end close, assisting leadership, and ensuring accounting policies, systems, and processes operate effectively while supporting credit control activities.
