About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers for raw materials and packaging materials.
- Source materials like membranes, plastic components, buffers, desiccants, aluminium pouches, cartons, etc., are used in IVD and rapid test card manufacturing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimise cost and efficiency.
- Raise purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure the timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, and Inventory teams to ensure compliance and timely procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and develop alternate supplier options.
- Ensure all procurement complies with internal SOPs, regulatory standards (like WHO-GMP, CE), and company quality requirements.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations,



and ensure procurement cost savings without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and prepare relevant reports.
- Handle import documentation (if applicable), customs, and logistics coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in raw material and packaging material procurement (experience in diagnostics, pharma, or medical devices preferred).
- Robust knowledge of vendor development and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management systems (e.g., Tally, ERP).
- Familiarity with regulatory procurement standards (WHO, CE, ISO).
- Experience in purchasing materials related to rapid test kits, lateral flow assays, or other IVD products.
