Working Hours:
6 Hours per Day + On-call for Emergency
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MD Medicine Doctor to provide high-quality medical care to patients. The doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring patient safety, and being available for emergency situations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) consultation during assigned 6-hour duty.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as per clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment when necessary.
- Handle emergency cases and be available on-call beyond duty hours.
- Coordinate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
- Guide and supervise junior doctors and nursing staff.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, NABH standards, and ethical practices.
Emergency Responsibilities:
- Attend emergency calls promptly.
- Provide immediate medical intervention in critical cases.
- Support ICU/ER team when required.
- Be available on phone and/or physically during emergencies.
Qualification & Experience:
- MD in General Medicine (mandatory)
- Valid Medical Council Registration:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience (preferred)
- Experience in handling emergency and critical care cases
