Job Summary:
The PGT Accountancy Teacher is responsible for teaching senior secondary students (Classes XI-XII), ensuring conceptual clarity in accounting principles, and preparing students for board examinations with strong analytical and practical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities:
Teach Accountancy to Classes XI & XII as per CBSE/State Board curriculum
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments
Ensure clear understanding of accounting concepts and problem-solving techniques
Prepare students for board exams with proper guidance and revision strategies
Conduct regular tests, assessments, and evaluations
Student Development:
Monitor academic progress of students
Provide remedial classes for weak students and enrichment for advanced learners
Maintain discipline and a positive classroom workplace
Administrative Duties:
Maintain records of attendance, marks, and performance
Prepare question papers, worksheets, and report cards
Participate in staff meetings and academic planning
Coordination & Activities:
Coordinate with other faculty members and school management
Assist in organizing academic events, commerce-related activities, and competitions
Support school functions, annual day, and other programs
Additional Responsibilities:
Follow school policies and guidelines
Perform any other duties assigned by the school administration

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com)
B.Ed. is mandatory
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience (senior secondary preferred)
