Job Summary:
SMPC Industries is looking for a detail-oriented and disciplined Storeperson to manage inventory, material movement, and stock accuracy within the plant. The role involves close coordination with production, dispatch, and purchase teams to ensure smooth material flow and proper inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials and consumables in the store.
- Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), inward and outward entries, and stock updates in ERP/Excel.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and segregation of materials.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for timely material issue and receipt.
- Monitor stock levels and inform purchase team for reordering.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
- Monitor and control wastage, scrap movement, and returnable items.





Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma holder in any discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in store/inventory management (preferably in manufacturing or steel industry).
- Working knowledge of inventory management, GRN, and stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of material handling and storage practices.

Work Timing (Rotational Shifts - 8 Hours):
- Shift 1: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
