Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor will be engaged on a consultancy basis for preparation, review, and management of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for Government projects. The role involves cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and financial analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance with Government norms, and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) including cost estimates and financial analysis
- Preparation and verification of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements
- Conducting detailed rate analysis as per CPWD/PWD norms
- Preparation of preliminary and detailed cost estimates for Government projects
- Reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for quantity take-offs
- Assisting in tender documentation, bid evaluation, and comparative statements
- Verification and certification of contractor bills (RA bills and final bills):
- Monitoring project costs and preparing cost reports
- Handling variations, deviations,



and extra items with proper justification and costing
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Government standards, codes, and procedures:
- Coordination with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, and contractors

Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis:
- In-depth knowledge of CPWD, PWD, and Government tendering procedures:
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (Civil, Architectural, MEP):
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred) and basic AutoCAD
- Valuable analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience in DPR preparation is highly desirable

Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management will be preferred

Experience:
- Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in Government projects / DPR consultancy is mandatory/prefe
