Snowflake Platform Administrator:
- Proficiency in Snowflake storage optimization, including micro partition evaluation, clustering strategies, data retention tuning, and managing Time Travel / Fail-safe footprints.
- Hands on experience performing cost usage analysis, identifying compute/storage inefficiencies, and delivering optimization recommendations to reduce credit consumption.
- Ability to support Snowflake during peak usage windows and critical business cycles, ensuring platform reliability, workload governance, and SLA adherence.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake query optimization, including pruning inefficiencies, improving micro-partition usage, and tuning SQL to reduce compute consumption.
- Solid experience in virtual warehouse tuning, including sizing strategies, auto suspend/resume, multi-cluster management, and workload isolation to support high concurrency workloads.
