Hiring: Production & Craft Coordinator

Location: Jaipur / Agra preferred
Role: Full-time preferred, strong part-time/freelance considered

Tasho is looking for a hands-on Production & Craft Coordinator to help manage the development and production of marble and Parchin Kari pieces across India.
This is not a desk-only role. We need someone practical, organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable visiting workshops, speaking with artisans, checking work against drawings, and sending clear structured updates.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate between designer, marble vendors, Parchin Kari artisans, polishers, fabricators, packers, and transport teams.
- Work with Tasho’s existing artisans and vendors, while also helping identify and assess additional workshops and specialists where needed.
- Read drawings, references, dimensions, material notes, and finish instructions carefully.
- Explain design and production requirements clearly to artisans in Hindi and/or English.
- Create simple production plans for each piece, including stages, vendors, materials, timeline, risks, and next steps.
- Get quotes from vendors and check that they have understood the scope correctly.
- Follow up on timelines and give regular structured updates.
- Visit workshops for physical checks where required.
- Maintain a production tracker with status, due dates, pending decisions, payments, and QC notes.
- Help build a dependable vendor and artisan pipeline over time.
Must have:
- Experience in marble, stone, handicrafts, furniture, homeware, interiors, export production, or artisan-led production.
- Solid eye for quality, finishing, proportion, and detail.
- Ability to manage artisans and vendors firmly but respectfully.
- Comfortable checking drawings, dimensions, samples, and physical products.
- Good Hindi communication skills; English is a plus.
- Based in or able to travel to Jai
