Role:
Business Partnering (Corporate Functions)
- Strategic Support: Act as a strategic partner to Corporate Functions to align on financial document requirements and control frameworks.
- Investment & Sensitivity Analysis: Partner with Project Engineering and corporate teams to analyze strategic investment decisions and conduct sensitivity analysis for various proposals.
- Project Evaluation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects, providing financial validation and tracking performance standards.
Education & Governance: Educate user departments on finance document requirements and internal control protocols to maintain financial integrity.
Budgeting & Business Planning
- Forecast Preparation: Lead the preparation and presentation of annual forecasted financials while collaborating across functions.
- Plan Monitoring: Periodically monitor and report on organizational adherence to established business plans.
Accounting
- Ledger Governance: Maintain the "sanity and hygiene" of financial books, ensuring all accounting entries align with established policies
- Review of Trade payables, ageing, compliance with GST and TDS requirements, including periodic reporting
- Variance Justification: Evaluate and justify variances between budgeted and actual financial performance for senior management reporting.
- Audit Management: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure report closure within agreed timeframes and implement agile controls.
Compliance: Ensure zero tolerance for deviations from legal and regulatory compliance, including tax filings and assessment notices.
Management Reporting & Digitization
MIS Preparation: Prepare detailed MIS for effective decision-making.
