The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all safety standards, statutory compliances, and site-specific safety requirements at the Tata Steel location in Jamshedpur. The role ensures a secure working environment by minimizing risks, preventing accidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Tata Steel safety standards, EHS policies, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation (PTW, JSA, HIRA, Tool Box Talk records, incident reports).
- Organize daily Tool Box Talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety discipline on site.
- Investigate incidents/near-misses and submit detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety audits and compliance checks.
- Ensure contractor and workforce safety induction before site entry.
- Liaise with Tata Steel safety officials for compliance and reporting.




- Promote zero-accident culture and continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Safety Management / Industrial Safety.
- Certification such as ADIS / PDIS (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial/site safety experience (steel plant experience preferred).
- Knowledge of statutory safety laws and industrial safety standards.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in high-risk industrial environments.

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹41,444.74 per month
