1. Key Responsibilities
A. Inward / Casting Stage Inspection
- Inspect raw castings for:
- Blow holes
- Sand inclusion
- Cold shut
- Misrun
- Shrinkage
- Cracks
- Core shift
- Excess flash
- Check casting surface condition before machining.
- Segregate visually defective castings.
- Mark rejection areas properly.
B. In-Process Inspection (Machining Stage)
- Check:
- Surface finish
- Burr removal
- Tool marks
- Rust marks
- Dent/scratch
- Chamfer condition
- Ensure no damage during handling.
- Confirm batch traceability marking.
C. Final Inspection Before Dispatch
- 100% visual inspection before packing.
- Verify:
- Part marking
- Casting number
- Heat number
- Customer logo (if applicable)
- Check for oiling / rust preventive coating.
- Approve only OK material for packing.
D. Documentation
- Maintain:
- Visual Inspection Report
- Rejection Register
- Daily Quality Summary
- Raise rejection note for defective material.
- Coordinate with Production for correction.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
