Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify detailed civil engineering drawings, blueprints, and plans based on input from engineers, architects, and other team members.
- Use AutoCAD and other relevant software to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers to incorporate revisions and updates to designs based on feedback.
- Assist with site visits to collect field data and measurements when necessary.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of design reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in civil drafting, with a solid understanding of construction and civil engineering principles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design-related software.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to produce exact and accurate drawings with mínimal supervision.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in design and work towards effective solutions.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in civil drafting or a related role, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
