Role Description & ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time on-site role for a Graphic & Book Designer, suited for someone passionate about visual storytelling and book publishing. Responsibilities include:
- Designing layouts, covers, and illustrations for books across genres, especially children’s titles
- Creating marketing collaterals, posters, banners, and digital creatives for campaigns and events
- Developing engaging, child-friendly designs for Woodpecker Books (activity books, storybooks, puzzles)
- Collaborating with editors, writers, and the content team to ensure designs align with brand vision
- Preparing print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in formatting, colours, and specifications
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Staying updated with design trends in publishing and retail

Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator,



Photoshop) and CorelDRAW, Premier Pro:
- Prior experience in book design or publishing is preferred
- Robust sense of typography, layout, and colour
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
