Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering related field, or equivalent practical experience with a proven track record in technical roles
- Expertise in Board Support Package, designing and developing drivers for wired and wireless networking interfaces, storage device drivers, power management, DVFS, thermal management, etc.
- Significant experience in Unix internals and embedded development experience using C, C++ and assembly language
- Some experience in a technical leadership role; supervising strategic projects as an individual contributor
- Architectural design experience on QNX OS or its components or experience with Linux or other POSIX based OS (Kernel Development)
- Expertise in embedded systems on major processor architectures (ARM, x86, PPC, etc.)




- Hands on experience in the development of software following either safety standards (ISO26262, IEC61508 etc.) or MIL standards would be a standout skill.
- Expertise in resolving and debugging (by instrumentation, trace logging, core-analysis, applying various tools to extract information, code-reviews, JTAG, etc.) to come up with effective solution in complex business situations.
- Experience with all the aspects of contemporary DevOps based development and practices, such as automated deployment, test coverage / test frameworks, CI/CD, etc.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with a diverse, global set of internal and external collaborators.
