Our Programs:
Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted ~40,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.
Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled an income uplift for close to 10000 entrepreneurs.
The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.
The Istri Project :
The Istri Project at Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on upgrading streetside ironing vendors from coal based iron boxes to LPG ones. These are the vendors who stand on street corners and iron clothes for the residents of that neighbourhood.
The usage of coal as an input fuel for the iron boxes used by these vendors poses many challenges, from low productivity, to long term health issues.
The LPG iron box is an innovation that addresses these problems & also delivers a significant livelihood impact to users.
Our model to scale this impact involves a three fold approach to solving the problems of Awareness, Accessibility & Affordability.
The Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic and field-oriented Program Executive to support the implementation of the Istri Gas Agency Model in West Bengal. The role involves building robust relationships with LPG gas agencies, coordinating with manufacturers and distributors, managing end-to-end execution of vendor onboarding and LPG distribution, and ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting.
