The incumbent will be responsible to establish information technology set up and its subsequent management. Illustrative list of responsibilities are as follows:
- Define, implement and promote an IT Operations Plan. This includes budgeting for IT operations for all IT/Networking enabled tools Computers/CCTVs/EPABX etc.
- Maintain the IT Operations technical toolset. (Including Documentation of procedures, Services implementation, Operations Standard Platform Workplace).
- Manage contracts with external suppliers including SLAs where appropriate. Ensure regular follow-up meetings with external suppliers in order to ensure optimal service levels
- Maintain internal quality service by establishing and enforcing standards within the organization to ensure smooth IT enabled operations.
- Monitor network security and supervise the entire network system of the organization.
- Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.
- Provide technical support in the evaluation of the offers in case of procurement of hardware and software.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
