Job Description
Senior developer is a Senior Engineering member in a Scrum team, responsible for ensuring the engineering deliverables are on schedule and on quality, on the application/product features owned. This is a hands-on engineering role and you'll work on design, development and testing of critical and complex features and also guide and mentor the junior developers in the team.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
6+ years professional experience building production web applications, with genuine full-stack range but a clear frontend specialty.
Strong, current React and TypeScript skills; comfortable owning component architecture, not just implementing designs.
Experience with a static-site or SSG framework such as Docusaurus, Next.js, Gatsby, or similar.
Solid CSS/SCSS skills and experience working within or consuming a shared design system / component library.
Able to write and maintain lightweight backend or serverless code (Node.js) - auth flows, API calls, form/email handling.
Familiarity with modern frontend build tooling (Vite, Webpack, or similar) and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
Experience writing unit/component tests (Jest and React Testing Library or equivalent).
Working knowledge of web accessibility and performance best practices.
Well-versed in working in product engineering teams, following agile development best practices and adhering to all Scrum ceremonies.
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
