Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA / QA Lead with 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, test strategy, automation, and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EDR/XDR, cybersecurity, endpoint security, antivirus, or agent-based products, with hands-on expertise in designing scalable test strategies and leading end-to-end testing across multiple platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing QA processes, automation frameworks, release quality gates, and driving large-scale endpoint testing from strategy through execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the overall QA strategy, test architecture, test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks.
- Drive automation across different product layers.
- Establish release quality gates, entry/exit criteria, risk assessment, and defect management processes.
- Lead end-to-end testing across:
- Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoint agents
- Backend services and microservices
- REST APIs
- Web/UI applications
- Multi-tenant environments
- Agent-server communication and integrations
- Plan and execute large-scale endpoint/client testing, including 200–500 endpoint canary testing.
- Define strategies for canary, regression, integration, system, performance, reliability, and compatibility testing.




- Identify critical product risks and ensure adequate test coverage before production releases.
- Drive automation-first testing and continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, DevOps, Security, and Support teams.
- Analyze test results and defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to closure.
- Establish QA metrics and dashboards covering quality, automation coverage, defect trends, release readiness, and test effectiveness.
- Mentor QA engineers and establish strong QA engineering practices.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability, observability, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of strong experience in QA, test strategy, automation, and QA leadership.
- Experience with EDR/XDR, cybersecurity, endpoint security, antivirus, or agent-based products is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Hands-on experience testing endpoint agents and client-server architectures.
- Experience with large-scale endpoint/client testing, preferably 200–500+ endpoints.
- Strong knowledge of:
- API testing
- Backend testing
- UI testing




- Integration testing
- System testing
- Regression testing
- End-to-end testing
- Experience designing or leading test automation frameworks.
- Robust understanding of CI/CD and automated quality gates.
- Experience with multi-tenant applications and distributed systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have
- EDR/XDR or cybersecurity product testing experience.
- Experience with endpoint deployment, upgrades, uninstall/reinstall, policy management, and agent lifecycle testing.
- Experience with cloud-based security platforms and SaaS products.
- Performance, scalability, resilience, and reliability testing experience.
- Knowledge of security testing concepts and vulnerability validation.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong Senior QA / QA Lead with hands-on expertise who can independently build QA strategy, establish automation and release processes, and drive complex testing initiatives across endpoint agents, backend services, APIs, UI, and large-scale client environments.
