DESCRIPTION
Amazon India's AI Transformation program for Category Operations is structured around three tracks: saving hours through automation, deploying those savings into business outcomes, and scaling adoption across a non-tech workforce. This also spans working with four different job families (Category Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Applied Science). The program has moved past early experimentation; first set of tools are live, hours are being saved, and the hard work has shifted to proving P&L; impact, and expanding what works in India to the broader IES organization.
This role is the connective tissue: running the AI MBR that keeps VP-level stakeholders aligned, driving adoption where it's lagging, shepherding new ideas from concept to production, and translating tool-level progress into business language that holds up in OP planning and WW reviews. Specifically, the role-holder is expected to do the following:
Key job responsibilities

- Drive adoption of live AI tools across non-tech users; own the gap between "tool launched" and "habit formed" across orgs
- Identify, scope, and shepherd current automation opportunities in Track 1 (productivity) and Track 2 (business outcomes),
working with tech and science teams to move from idea to production
- Own the adoption metrics dashboard: track tool usage by org, surface under-penetrated cohorts, and design targeted interventions
- Manage relationships with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Applied Science, Marketing, and WW platform teams to align roadmaps and remove blockers
- Represent the AI program in business reviews and OP planning both at IN and WW; translate tool-level progress into business impact language for senior stakeholders
- Expand successful ideas from IN to IES and drive leverage
- Learn and be aware of new AI trends both at Amazon and outside, size opportunities and drive the goal of making the org the most AI-forward and AI-proficient org within Amazon
