Job Title: Senior Policy Manager

Department/Function: Risk

Job Purpose

As a Senior Policy Manager in the Retail Banking division, based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for defining and managing policy norms across retail asset products. This includes shaping the risk appetite, ensuring regulatory compliance, enabling technological enhancements, and driving operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio performance and implement strategic improvements aligned with the bank’s objectives.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Define and regularly review risk acceptance criteria and policy norms.
- Conduct asset quality reviews and provide analytical insights to identify risks and opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio delinquencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Shape product-level risk appetite aligned with business growth and pricing strategies.
- Facilitate implementation of digital tools like scorecards and automated journeys.
- Recommend process and policy improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.




- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure policy alignment and execution.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.
- Support cross-functional teams in understanding and applying policy guidelines.
- Robust analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Deep understanding of retail banking products and risk frameworks
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making
- Experience in implementing digital and data-driven solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Educational Qualifications Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
