About The Department

- The Data Quality team within Franklin Templeton’s Enterprise Data Office ensures enterprise data is trusted, governed, and fit for business and regulatory needs. The team partners with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and engineering teams to establish data quality standards, monitor data health, remediate issues, and drive continuous improvement across critical datasets. By embedding quality controls into governance processes and enterprise data flows, the team enables reliable analytics, regulatory reporting, operational efficiency, and effective decision-making.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities

- You will drive adoption of the enterprise Data Quality Management (DQM) framework.
- You will onboard critical datasets into enterprise quality processes.
- You will design and implement data quality controls and validation rules.
- You will embed quality checks into data pipelines and ingestion layers.
- You will build scalable, reusable data quality solutions.
- You will define and monitor KPIs, thresholds, and scorecards.
- You will develop dashboards, reports, and quality insights for stakeholders.

Team & Collaboration

- You will partner with data owners, stewards, and engineering teams.
- You will coordinate remediation efforts across data producers and consumers.
- You will perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- You will track remediation progress against agreed service levels.




- You will support governance forums and stakeholder engagement activities.
- You will collaborate with business, technology, and governance teams.
- You will support enterprise transformation, analytics, and regulatory initiatives.

Strategic Responsibilities

- You will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities within data quality workflows.
- You will design prompt frameworks for AI-enabled quality solutions.
- You will apply AI to automate analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- You will explore emerging agentic AI and machine learning capabilities.
- You will promote adoption of enterprise Data Quality Management practices.
- You will create enablement materials, playbooks, and guidance.
- You will support enterprise data strategy and governance objectives.
- You will help scale standardized, enterprise-wide quality capabilities.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience

- 8–10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Data Governance and Data Quality.
- Experience implementing enterprise data quality frameworks and controls.
- Experience improving data quality through measurable KPIs and governance practices.
- Experience with data profiling, monitoring, and remediation processes.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience applying AI concepts to quality improvement and automation initiatives.

Education &

Certifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification preferred.

Technical Skills

- Python development and automation.
- Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Advanced SQL and relational database expertise.
- Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, Redshift, or similar platforms.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) services including S3, ECS, and EKS.
- GitLab, DevOps practices,



and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data quality frameworks, governance controls, and enterprise data management.
- Cloud platforms, data pipelines, and distributed data environments.
