Role Description:

The Senior Buyer will lead end-to-end buying activities, including assortment planning, vendor selection, price negotiation, and purchase order management for fashion categories. This full time, on-site role is based in Bangalore Urban and requires managing a team of Fashion Designers & close collaboration with data science, and operations teams to build AI-informed assortments that meet customer demand and margin targets. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales and customer data, identifying trends, planning seasonal and core collections, and optimizing inventory levels across channels.

The Senior

Buyer will manage supplier relationships, oversee product development timelines, track quality and delivery performance.

The role also involves monitoring competitive landscapes, testing new product lines, and providing strategic input on pricing, promotions, and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience in Fashion buying and merchandising ,



including assortment planning and price negotiation.
- Must have worked in an E-Commerce company/startup, so you have an aerial view of how the collections will look like on our app!
- Not more than 10 years of Work Experience so that you can manage our AI & tech savvy Fashion Designers, who will report into you!
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and customer data; comfort working with data tools and dashboards.
- Proven track record in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and margin management within fashion environments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, marketing, operations, data science) and influence decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management and presentation abilities.
- Hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer or e-commerce businesses; exposure to AI-driven or tech-enabled E-commerce is a plus.
- Demonstrated capability to work on-site, take ownership, and make data-informed decisions under time-sensitive conditions.
