Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Semi Qualified and Qualified Compliance Officer based in Noida.

The Compliance

Officer will monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements applicable to co-operative banks, including RBI guidelines and relevant state and central regulations.

Responsibilities include reviewing internal policies and procedures, conducting compliance audits and risk assessments, and preparing reports for senior management and regulatory authorities. The role involves monitoring transactions and documentation for potential compliance issues, recommending corrective actions, and supporting staff with guidance and training on compliance-related matters.

Officer will collaborate with operational, credit, and audit teams to maintain robust internal controls and support ongoing improvements in compliance practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, co-operative banking laws, RBI guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance audit or monitoring activities.
- Capability to interpret regulatory updates, draft or review policies, and implement compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and maintaining accurate compliance records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide staff.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to identify and resolve compliance issues promptly.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA (Semi Qualified or Qualified), CS, or similar compliance-related credentials preferred.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services, especially in a compliance or audit role, is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Noida and readiness to adapt to evolving regulatory and organizational requirements.
