About The Role We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Expert Intercompany to support regional Finance operations and deliver end-to-end SAP Intercompany solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP FI/FICO, General Accounting and Intercompany Accounting , along with experience in business process transformation, troubleshooting, testing, rollouts and stakeholder management.

The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Intercompany and Finance processes, partnering with business, Finance, IT and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the identification and strategy of end-to-end SAP Intercompany solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a functional SME for Intercompany Accounting and General Accounting processes.
- Support key users and Finance Shared Services teams in troubleshooting complex SAP Finance issues.
- Gather business requirements, perform process analysis and translate requirements into SAP solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned Finance functional area.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation and ERP-based process improvements.
- Support SAP governance and change management activities, including impact assessment and solution evaluation.
- Coordinate and support Functional, Integration, UAT and regression testing for local and global changes.
- Proactively identify and resolve system/process issues and work with technical teams for resolution.




- Represent the region in global Finance/SAP meetings and contribute to prioritization of new developments.
- Partner with Business Units, Finance stakeholders and IT teams to understand current and future technology requirements.
- Support SAP rollouts, new entity/company-code implementations and deployment activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, process documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Provide training and guidance to key users and end users as required.
- Act as Tier-2 functional support for complex SAP Finance and Intercompany issues.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in SAP FICO / SAP FI.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Intercompany Accounting / Intercompany (ICB).
- Strong knowledge of General Accounting / General Ledger.
- Experience with SAP Finance configuration and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of Intercompany transactions, reconciliation, invoicing and cross-company processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Strong understanding of FI integration with MM, SD and other SAP modules.
- Experience in business requirement gathering, process analysis and solution design.
- Experience in SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement or support projects.

Good to Have

- SAP FICO / SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Experience in Intercompany Netting / Transfer Pricing / Intercompany STO.
- Digital transformation and process automation experience.
- Experience with SAP reporting and analytics.
- PMP / Agile / Process Management certification.
- CPA or equivalent Finance qualification.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- MBA Finance / professional Finance qualification will be an advantage.
