Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Security Monitoring Developer / Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Security Architecture, Event Monitoring, Salesforce Shield, security monitoring, and security operations integrations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and reviewing Salesforce security models, analyzing Salesforce security events, identifying suspicious or abnormal activity, and building monitoring and automation solutions.

Salesforce Event Monitoring / Shield Event Monitoring is a critical requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain the overall Salesforce Security Model.
- Architect, review, and enhance existing and new Salesforce security models based on business requirements.
- Monitor and analyze Salesforce security events to identify suspicious or abnormal behavior.
- Build security monitoring dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Develop automation and monitoring workflows for Salesforce security use cases.
- Build integrations to collect and process Salesforce security signals.
- Support Salesforce Event Monitoring and Security Center evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop technical components supporting security monitoring and analytics.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and operational documentation.
- Perform security assessments and identify overly permissive access or security gaps.
- Work with security/SOC teams to support detection, investigation, and response workflows.

Salesforce Event Monitoring – Critical Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring / Shield Event Monitoring is required.

Experience analyzing events such as:

- Login and authentication activity
- API usage
- Report and data export activity
- URI / page access
- Bulk API activity
- Lightning interactions
- Permission and configuration changes
- EventLogFile
- Event Monitoring Analytics
- Near-real-time security events





The candidate should be able to identify:
- Abnormal user behavior
- Suspicious access patterns
- Potential data exfiltration
- Unusual report exports
- Excessive API data extraction
- Suspicious login activity
- Unexpected IP/location access
- Unauthorized access to sensitive records
- Compromised integration or service accounts
- Privileged-access or permission changes

Salesforce Security Architecture Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including:

- Profiles
- Permission Sets
- Permission Set Groups
- Roles
- Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD)
- Sharing Rules
- MFA
- SSO
- OAuth
- Connected Apps
- Session Security
- IP Restrictions
- Login Policies
- Trusted Networks

Experience conducting Salesforce security assessments and identifying excessive or inappropriate access is highly desirable.

Salesforce Shield

Practical experience with Salesforce Shield is preferred, particularly:

- Event Monitoring
- Platform Encryption
- Field Audit Trail
- Transaction Security Policies

Experience with Transaction Security is particularly valuable, as the role involves progressing from security-event monitoring and threat detection toward automated response and prevention. SIEM & Security Operations Integration

Experience integrating Salesforce security telemetry with enterprise SIEM platforms is strongly preferred.

The candidate should understand security workflows such as: Salesforce Event Monitoring → SIEM → Detection/Correlation → SOC Alert → Investigation → Response

Required Skills

- 6–8 years of Salesforce experience.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Security Architecture.
- Hands-on Salesforce Event Monitoring / Shield Event Monitoring experience.

- Robust knowledge of Salesforce access and sharing architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield.
- Experience building security monitoring dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Experience with security automation and monitoring workflows.
- Understanding of Transaction Security Policies.
- Experience identifying suspicious access, data extraction, abnormal behavior, and privileged-access changes.
- Experience with security integrations and SIEM platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with Salesforce, security, and SOC teams.
