SALES MANAGER – SANITARYWARE & BUILDING MATERIALS Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Experience: 3–7 Years Industry: Sanitaryware / Bathroom Fittings / Building Materials / Hardware / Trading & Distribution Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for sanitaryware, bathroom fittings, and related building-material products . The candidate will be responsible for dealer/distributor development, market expansion, customer relationship management, sales team handling, and achieving revenue targets across Raipur and surrounding markets.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Build and expand a robust network of sanitaryware dealers, distributors, retailers, builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, and plumbers . Generate new business opportunities and onboard new dealers and channel partners.

Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and key customers. Conduct regular market visits across Raipur and nearby areas to identify new opportunities and understand market demand. Promote and increase sales of sanitaryware, bathroom fittings, faucets, wash basins, toilets, showers, accessories, and allied products .

Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close orders. Monitor competitors, market pricing, product demand, schemes, and customer preferences. Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, orders, deliveries, and outstanding payments.

Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.



Allocate territories and targets to sales executives and regularly review their performance.

Develop new markets and strengthen the company's presence in the sanitaryware and building-material segment. Maintain sales reports, customer databases, market visit reports, and sales pipelines. Resolve dealer/customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Provide regular market feedback and sales performance reports to management.

Required Skills Strong experience in sanitaryware and bathroom fittings sales . Proven expertise in dealer/distributor and channel sales . Strong knowledge of the Raipur market and surrounding territories.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Strong team leadership and people-management abilities. Good understanding of dealer margins, pricing, schemes, and sales negotiations.

Target-oriented with strong business development and closing skills. Excellent follow-up and customer-handling abilities. Willingness to travel for market visits and customer meetings. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from sanitaryware, bathroom fittings, faucets, tiles, plumbing products, hardware, building materials, construction materials, or related trading/distribution industries will be preferred.

Qualification

Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
